Compatible vehicles broadcast CAM messages at 1 - 10 Hz (typically 4 times per second).

A CAM message contains:

1. GPS position
2. Speed
3. Heading
4. Longitudinal and lateral acceleration
5. Vehicle length and width
6. Status of the lights, e.g. indicators, low beam, rear fog light, …

Since 2019, more and more cars have been equipped with C-ITS and send this data as long as Car2x is enabled in the menu.
