OpenTrafficMap is an open project — here is how you can help:

The most valuable contribution: live data can only be shown where at least one receiver is nearby.

• Get a receiver via the group order or build one yourself — see the start page for all options.
• Pick a good spot: Reception & Placement.
• Register it: Node Registration.

Register a wiki account and edit away — translations, corrections, and new pages are all welcome. The English documentation lives in the en: namespace.

Spotted something interesting on the live map? Add it to Sightings.

Firmware, hardware, and the map itself are developed openly:
